Motherhood is definitely something I wasn’t prepared for. I always knew I wanted kids but that always seemed to be in the VERY distant future. When I was 15, your auntie Susan and I wrote the goals we had for ourselves in 10 years and although it has been quite a number of unstable years for me, it seems like everything is falling in place just as we had hoped.I wrote that I wanted to have a beautiful baby by the time I was 25 so I could then concentrate on my career fully and I’m greatful that it’s all happening right now.
Giving birth to you was one of the best experiences of my life. I had my good days and bad days while you were in my belly and when I think back on it, you gave me the best pregnancy a girl could ask for. You hit every milestone as it came and were always active and healthy. I am so proud that I am your mother and even we are blessed because we had amazing support from your dad Jason and our family that I didn’t even know could be possible.
Your arrival has been my little piece of heaven as you brought my real friends and family even closer to me. Today, you are one month old and you have been so good all day. We woke up this morning safe, alive and healthy and I couldn’t ask for anything better than cuddling with you every chance I get. Here to many more months and even more years.
I love you Beck more than you could possibly imagine.
