Hey Lovelies

It’s October. YAY!!!! It’s also Saturday! Double YAY! I also have time to finally write a blog post TRIPLE YAY!… It’s been quite a whirlwind over the last few months with tons of changes in our household and film work for myself and we are still here! Going strong!

If you follow me on snapchat SC: ClaireAshMeadow you can get to see what I get up to daily. We also changed my Tumblr IG from AshMeadowMelts to Cashmere Moms so I could separate my personal IG page to our lovely mommy brand πŸ™‚

Beck and I are sorry for keeping any followers pining for new content and vlogs, please don’t give up on us. We are going through a major overhaul since our birthday July and promise to give you the best and consistent content.

So anywho, right on to why I’m writing this, this week was no different than the last few months. I had a full week of work and a family emergency as well as trying out new secondary childcare for Beck.

Thursday Night, I came back to green scribbled walls all over our house. I was beyond exhausted and couldn’t even think of where Beck got the crayons as I have absolutely no pens, colours or colour sticks anywhere in our house. My first action was to grab a cloth and wipe it out but that didn’t help. My second thought was “OH SHIT, I’LL HAVE TO PAINT THE WALLS TO CLEAN THIS UP” but then I quickly grabbed my phone and google gave me an answer.

1st result was spraying WD40 which as a filmmaker I always have in my detergent cupboard so I took this out then I continued scrolling on other articles and guess what lovelies????????, MAYONNAISE is the easiest household Β item to use when your babies decide to become expressive artists in your home. I immediately called my boda guy, who is absolutely amazing, he picks up my laundry from Village Market, any take out food we order and even has done grocery shopping for me when I was horribly sick a 2 weeks ago. I was amazed by how attentive he was to my very detailed list, most surprising was when he picked up amazingly clean and fresh vegetables that I needed so he promptly got us some mayonnaise which I never have in our kitchen and Beck and I got to cleaning.

I decided to involve Beck in the cleaning process and what was somewhat supposed to be a punishment became a full blown fun sticky party, he gladly dipped his little hand into the mayonnaise container and spread it thick on the wall. After waiting for 15 minutes we got lightly damp cloths and wiped it all off and I was amazed by how clean the walls looked. YAY! Thank you Google, I got clean walls and Beck learnt a lesson in cleaning up after himself.

So a word to you mamas, Google is definitely your friend when you need to find easy solutions that don’t cost you an arm and a leg πŸ™‚
